Tandem Skydiving in Washington DC
If you want an incredibly exciting skydiving experience in Washington DC, we recommend you satisfy your curiosity with a one-time tandem jump. Tandem Skydiving requires about 30 minutes of ground preparation and then you will be ready for your first skydive.
You and your certified skydiving instructor (known as a Tandem Master) are securely harnessed together with a parachute system to enjoy falling at speeds of up to 120mph! Your tandem master controls the jump and your landing. The freefall will last approximately one minute before a 4-6 minute canopy descent that offers amazing views of the Washington DC landscape, including the Washington Monument and even the Whitehouse!

The total experience usually lasts 2.5-3 hours. Plan to be at the dropzone for at least 1/2 a day. |

GUESTS
Guests are welcome to come and watch from the observation area as you come in for your parachute landing. |

WEATHER
Weather can be a factor as it becomes to dangerous with high winds, heavy rain, fog, or other inclement weather. Vendors may open early or close later than expected due to weather and other factors. |

WHAT TO WEAR
Wear comfortable tennis shoes (sneakers), blue jeans, and casual clothes. Also bring a pony tail holder for those that have long hair. Sandals (of any kind), boots, and flip flops are not recommended to wear. |

240 lbs., however there will be an additional charge at the dropzone for students weighing more than 200 lbs. |
